SEA URCHIN MAN MASK BY DAVID KNOX

This mask, by Dave Knox, is carved from red cedar. The piece features clean
lines and deep carving, particularly around the eyes and mouth. Tim has signed the back of the mask.

Sea Urchins rarely form the primary image of any Northwest Coast object. They are typically reserved for use as a secondary figure in association with such creatures as Komokwa or Pugwis.

Sea Urchins are recognizable by a round boundy, typically red in colour, with
protruding spines extending outward.
