| David Mungo Knox Affiliation: Kwakwaka’wakw David Knox is the the Great Grandson of Mungo Martin, a prolific artist whose creations can be viewed at the University of British Comubia's Museum of Anthropology. David began carving in 1991, apprenticing under his notable unlce Tony Hunt Sr. and his cousin Tom Hunt. He has producted a number of pieces that include a large array of masks, drums, talking sticks and prints, which are held in private collections around the world. David has a great respect for his culture and is determined to carry on the legacy of his family in preserving Kwakwaka'waka culture. |
